Sales Executive
Position : Sales Executive
Reports to : Senior Sales Executive
Type of Position : Fulltime/Permanent
Minimum requirements:
-
Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification.
-
Experience and knowledge of the plastics conversion, polymer chemistry and their respective applications, pigments and colour development experience would be preferred.

Sales experience in a business to business environment, having managed key accounts and working within the colour masterbatch and or related industries is preferred.

Valid Driver’s licence and own vehicle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-
Managing customers and maintaining existing relationships.
-
Developing new business and growing existing accounts.
-
Liaising with and working closely with internal sales and production staff, ensuring all customer requirements or special needs are communicated.

Troubleshooting at customer sites regarding products, and ensuring that all customer requirements are adhered to.

Submitting colour match requests to the laboratory on behalf of the customer, and following up on the progress.

Submitting monthly sales and project reports to the senior management.

Submitting non-conformance status reports on a monthly basis.

Attending and assisting customer trials conversion methods vary from injection moulding, film extrusion, blow moulding, thermoforming, roto moulding etc.

Providing technical support to customers for existing products.

Developing new products and providing input regarding the technical service and sales for new products.
